Fumi Tsubota
Fumi Tsubota (坪田 文, Tsubota Fumi, July 7, 1983) is a Japanese screenwriter born in Okayama Prefecture. She provides screenplays for a wide range of genres, including dramas, anime, movies, and theatrical performances. She graduated from Nihon University College of Art, Department of Drama, Playwright Course. She completed the master's program at the Department of Performing Arts, Graduate School of Arts, Nihon University, and has a master's degree in arts. While she was in school, she received guidance from Isawo Takahashi (高橋 いさを) and Ren Saitō (斎藤 憐). In July 2002, she presided over Kūkan Zerī (空間ゼリー), a women-only theater company with the concept of “sympathizing with women and marveling at men,” and she wrote all of the theater company's works.
