Ami Kitagami

北上アミ (Ami Kitagami) is a former Japanese singer and talento. In 2000, Kitagami signed up for an Hello! Project audition called 4th Morning Musume. & Heike Michiyo Protegee Audition, alongside 1500 other girls. Matsuura Aya won the audition, but Kitagami, along with Oki Ibuki debuted as the group Sheki-Dol, releasing their first single later that same year. The 4th Morning Musume. & Heike Michiyo Protegee Audition aired on Idol wo Sagase, and Kitagami said in an interview that she appeard on-screen for three second and that she sang Kiroro's "Mirai e" at the audition. As a member of Sheki-Dol, Kitagami performed on stage, released singles, had a radio show, a column in a music magazine, and worked as a model. In January 2002, Sheki-Dol disbanded, and for a short while Kitagami continued in the entertainment industry as a talento before retiring. She took on her real name (Ryouke Ayumi) and joined an agency called office JR Co., and was a guest on an episode of Mamonaku HEY!HEY!HEY!.
